Hypermedia

Brian Tissue has created a number of web projects for students and instructors. His goal is to provide easily understandable tutorials as starting points for further study. The nature of hypermedia also shows the connections between topics.

Chemistry Hypermedia Project

This project contains short descriptions and tutorials on a variety of topics in an encyclopedia format. Cross references are available in the common areas of chemistry:

general chemistry
analytical chemistry
analytical instrumentation

Other contributors include M. Gwen Sibert (Roanoke Valley Governor's School), Mark Anderson (Univ Colorado-Denver), and Thomas Chasteen (Sam Houston State Univ).

Ethics in Science

My interest in ethics and misconduct in science arose after being a faculty participant in a graduate-level ethics class. The Ethics in Science website is provided as a useful starting point for discussion.
